Incredible's 2

We were waiting 14 years for the follow up to one of the most beloved Pixar film since Toy Story, and now that it is finally out I can safely say it was worth the wait. Pixar does justice to Disney’s original super family and tells a story that is a nice development to their original story and introduces enough new elements to make it feel new.

Incredibles 2 starts off right where the last movie ended. Seriously it may have been 14 years for us, but maybe 14 seconds passed for the Incredibles. As their fight to save the city continues we are thrown back into a world that has outlawed supers and they are criminals and unwanted vigilantes. The police, government, and public may not want them, but Mr. Incredible and Elesta-Girl meet a rich tech mogul who wants to bring back Supers and has a plan to help bring them back to the surface.

Incredibles does what I constantly ask for in these super hero films, it has fun action, jokes, and characters while also saying something profound about the world we live in. There is not much to say about this film except it nails everything you loved about the last film and continues to grow both their characters and the world they live in. Oh, also Jack-Jack is a runaway star!

Overall, this is a must see for fans of the original and really anyone looking for a great family movie this summer. It was funny, endearing, and such a satisfying follow up to one of my favorite animated films of all time.
